Radical, anti-government, armed, extremist, nonviolent, institutional, and state sources are not credibility categories by themselves. A link is judged by what it adds to the research record and what the reader is being sent there to do.

In scope

Neutral research coverage

Revolutionary, insurgent, armed, nonviolent, mixed-method, anarchist, abolitionist, anti-colonial, liberation, anti-war, labor, civil-rights, autonomy, and state-security movements may all be studied.
Group-centered advocacy—Palestinian, Black, Irish, Indigenous, Kurdish, Armenian, or otherwise—is not classified as racist merely because it advocates strongly for that group.
Movements that use political violence can be profiled neutrally, with methods and legal classifications treated as factual attributes.

Not recommended

Hate and operational facilitation

Racist, supremacist, dehumanizing, or protected-class hate projects are not recommended as resources.
Active recruitment portals, attack instructions, weapons/sabotage manuals, targeting resources, or clandestine operational guidance are not convenience-linked. This is a use/safety boundary, not a reason to omit the actor, ideology, movement, history, legal status, or political role from research.
When such material is historically necessary, use neutral archives, court records, scholarship, or preserved documentary sources where possible.

Link classes

What a link means.

Class	Use
A · Reference	Strong archive, dataset, primary-source repository, or transparent research institution.
B · Contextual	Useful ideological, movement, advocacy, or independent source that should be read with explicit perspective/context.
C · Research-only	Historically or analytically important source where direct endorsement would be misleading; link through neutral archive/secondary source when possible.
D · No direct link	Hate-based or operational/recruitment material. It may still be discussed as an object of study.

Coverage distinction

Violent or extremist status does not move a subject into a research exclusion bucket. It changes source handling and the kinds of direct links we expose.
